
Some merchants upgrade their inventories with more powerful items when the game reaches some milestones.The inventory of most merchants changes as the game advances. From there you can return the items you bought and buy back those you sold.

Clicking the last icon on each side of the store interface displays a list of the items bought and sold. However, you can revert any buys or sales at no loss as long as you don't close the store interface.

Since merchants always sell items at a much higher price than they buy it, you incur a significant loss if you buy an item and later sell it back, and also if you buy back an item you sold. Merchants who apply a 10% markup sell it for 55 silvers, while merchants who apply a 20% markup sell it for 60 silvers. For example, the value of an iron scale armor is 50 silvers. Each merchant applies the same markup to all their items. The price of each item on sale depends on the value of the item and the markup of the merchant.

Exceptions are Gorim, who pays twice as much if the Warden is of Dwarf Noble origin and Armaas in Awakening, who pays less. You can sell looted items to any merchant. Mechanics Prices Main article: Item value
